Downtown Dental has been BY FAR the best dental clinic I’ve ever gone to. Dr. Shah has the best bedside manner, and he takes so much care to explain everything happening and really listens to any issues without invalidating them. When I first came to this office, it was as a new patient needing an emergency procedure due to unbelievable pain I was experiencing after trauma that I’d experienced over the weekend. Dr. Shah immediately numbed me up, evaluated that I needed an emergency root canal, and made phone calls to an endodontist down the street who was able to see me the same day, forty minutes later. He called to check on me after the procedure multiple times, and sent me texts asking for updates multiple times as well. He always takes the time to communicate during procedures to make sure I understand exactly what to expect and even helps organize procedures so that they align the best with insurance. On the day of my first encounter at his office, when I was in unbelievable pain and incredibly worried because I didn’t know what was going on, he was so kind and helpful (in a way that I had never experienced from a health care practitioner) that it brought me to tears. I cannot recommend this practice enough— going to the dentist (historically something I’ve always hated) is now the appointment I am the least stressed about, because I know I am in the best hands.
